This year I have really stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to dedicate 2017 to broadening my exercise knowledge, improving my ability to help clients better their bodies and developing my business skills to take Peachi PT to the next level.
This week has really shown just how much action has been taken so far to challenge myself and make these goals happen:
I received my Master Functional Trainer certification with Functional Training Institute – 7 certifications in body mobility and functional training skills, 8 days, over 70 hours with a final exam to test my new skills. So excited to receive that certificate!
We have an awesome new trainer joining the team next week – we are ready to work together to help our current clients, take on new clients and build our community.
We have two great students joining our team from Deakin University for their placement to complete their exercise and sport science degree – it’s now my job to help them apply their new knowledge, develop their skills and gain confidence working with clients.
I am in Sydney this week for workshop 1 of 4 in my business mentor program – surrounding myself with great trainers from all around Australia to learn how to grow Peachi PT!
It’s been a crazy week! I’m not going to pretend it’s been easy, in fact I have found myself feeling like a ball of stress a few times (sorry to my partner, Mak, for having to deal with that 😛 ), but seeing so many things start coming together this week has made all the hard work so worth it!
So over to you… How often do you really challenge yourself?
Most of us have that one thing we would love to achieve, but it seems a little daunting and we think “I don’t think I could ever do that!”. So often we end up just put it aside and dream about it again at a later date!
It may be exercise related – perhaps you want to be able to do a chin up or run 5km without stopping!
It may be career focused – perhaps you want to reach a higher level in your field, or dream of a complete career change all together!
What is it that you want to achieve, but are yet to start working on?
Have a think about it! Write it down!
If it seems like there is a whole world between you and our goal and you don’t even know where you would start, don’t give up and push it aside!! Next week I will go into detail on ways to break it down and build achievable steps to help you get there!
This weekend challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone, even if it’s just in a tiny way! Give something new a go – you never know what it could lead to or what you could achieve!
